Music Production Workshop

Our Music Production Workshop gives young people a hands-on introduction to how modern music is made.

In this two-hour session, participants work in pairs using industry standard equipment to build a piece of music from a guided starting point. They record real-world sounds, edit audio, experiment with arrangement and hear their ideas played back at the end of the workshop. No previous experience is needed and participants do not need to play an instrument or read music to get involved.
Led by working music industry professionals, the workshop is practical, inclusive and rooted in the music and creative technology young people already connect with.

Alongside core production skills, the session builds confidence, teamwork, listening, creative decision-making and awareness of pathways in music, media and the wider creative industries.
