OUR STORY

voicenote

Nextup Arts Collective was founded by music industry professional Peter Gibney, who brings over 15 years of experience as a working DJ. Beyond his career behind the decks, Peter has built a strong reputation in music management, PR, and event production through Harbour Music Society — a music agency committed to nurturing emerging talent and fostering creative careers. His hands-on approach and deep industry knowledge drive our mission to empower the next wave of artists.

Our journey through the music industry has been both dynamic and rewarding. As professional DJs, we've had the privilege of performing across Europe, Asia, the UK, and beyond—curating unforgettable nights where quality music meets immersive atmospheres. Our team of tutors bring real-world experience to every session, bridging the gap between performance and industry expertise.

We believe DJing & music production is an incredible outlet for students to develop creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. It’s more than just music, it’s about learning how to express yourself, connect with others, and adapt to different situations. DJing and production also introduces valuable industry skills like time management, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking, all of which are transferable to any career path.
